Tips for Finishing Your 3D Prints

To maintain the cutter's life, lubricate it with an Accu-Lube stick to keep it cool during polishing. The cutter can then be used to mill away the uprights and remove any remaining material from the print.

Next, use a ceramic sanding belt, with a long service life when machining titanium workpieces, to achieve a smoother finish. For an even better result, apply diamond polishing paste. It's crucial to adjust each step of the process to the material of the workpiece for optimal results.

To achieve a smooth finish, polish the workpiece after each processing step. Once the polishing is complete, clean the workpiece in an ultrasonic cleaning tank to remove any remaining debris or particles. This will leave the workpiece looking polished and clean, ready for use.

For instance, it's important to work in a clean and well-ventilated space to avoid contamination of the print or exposure to harmful fumes.
