Trinocular Microscopes

A trinocular microscope is a type of compound microscope featuring three eyepieces or optical paths. Typically, it includes two eyepieces for binocular viewing and an additional third optical path designed for attaching a camera or other imaging device. This third optical path allows users to capture still images or videos of the specimen viewed through the microscope. Trinocular microscopes find common use in research, teaching, and various applications where documenting, analysing, or sharing microscopic images is essential. They provide both visual observation through the eyepieces and the capability to record or display images, making them versatile tools in fields such as biology, medicine, materials science, and more.

The KXJL20 and KXJL20BD microscopes showcase outstanding UIS optics and a comprehensive range of functionalities, including darkfield (in the BD version) and polarised light capabilities. Built on an ergonomic frame with a side camera port, these microscopes offer an excellent blend of quality and user-friendliness. The microscopes are equipped with a pair of 10X eyepieces featuring a wide field number of 22mm. They also come with a full set of high-quality, infinity-corrected, long working distance, darkfield/brightfield, plan achromatic metallurgical objectives mounted beneath the stage. The stage features a circular mount for effortless rotation during polarised light observations. Focus adjustment is achieved through adjustable tension, and a focus lock ensures objective protection.

For illumination, a high-intensity 50W halogen lamphouse is included, complete with adjustable intensity, field and aperture diaphragms, along with a set of Y, G, B, and diffusion filters. A variety of optional accessories, such as camera adaptors, digital cameras, image analysis software, additional objectives, and eyepieces, are also available.

Further specifications of the product include a set of eyepieces and objectives, comprising a pair of 10X Widefield Eyepieces and 4 BD Plan Achromatic Infinity Objectives with magnifications of 10X, 20X, 50X, and 80X. The trinocular head is equipped with interpupillary distance adjustment for enhanced user comfort. The microscope features a robust and sizeable stand with a coaxial coarse/fine focus mechanism, providing stability and precise control. Additionally, it incorporates a large mechanical stage and condenser for efficient sample manipulation. The illumination system is powered by 50W Halogen Lights, offering adjustable intensity to suit various observation requirements.
